This application relates to the technical field of mining transportation, and in particular to a battery electric self-dumping hopper for mining, including a track where an equipment compartment is mounted on top of the track, two sides of the bottom of the equipment compartment each are rotatably connected to a sliding block, a groove is provided on each of two sides of the track, and the two sliding blocks are respectively located in the grooves on the two sides of the track; a third gear is arranged inside the equipment compartment, where the third gear is rotatably connected to the equipment compartment; a driving apparatus is provided on one side of the third gear, where the driving apparatus is motion transmittingly connected to the third gear; a cogged track is provided on the top of the track. In this application, a pushing apparatus rotatably connected to a storage box and a movable plate is provided, so as to push aside the movable plate from the storage box via a second electric telescopic rod, to implement automatic dumping of the apparatus, thereby resolving the problem that mine carts in the prior art cannot dump materials automatically such that workers' labor intensity is increased and work efficiency of mine carts is decreased.
